Hi! I am Sasha Reisin, originally from Argentina. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, which led me to street art in 2012. Currently, I spend my time making localized public art projects, where I thrive to empower people through art. I do a lot of community outreach so people can gather, share and recognize their own local identities.

10 RENOVATION DOC 234—34/2
Project: Renovation
Location: Mexico City – Mexico. 2022
Commissioner: PROSOC – Social Justice Department of Mexico City.
Concept: 5-story mural painting based on the ‘new fire’ ceremony, a prehispanic ritual of Iztapalapa - Mexico. 🫀
One of the most important walls we have painted, bringing new styles through a strong symbolic research. 👹
In the design we include elements like the vase of Huehuetéotl, god of fire, the hummingbird, the Jamaican flower, the kite, masks, the volcanoes. 🔥
An urban landscape of Iztapalapa also makes part of the composition, keeping traditions alive. 🌟
